Anti-BCL-2 (Phospho-Thr56) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody raised against BCL-2 phosphorylated at threonine 56, supplied by Antibodies.com. The antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugate and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by subsequent chromatography.

It is unconjugated and validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, detecting endogenous BCL-2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 56. The immunogen corresponds to the peptide sequence around the threonine 56 phosphorylation site (G-H-T(p)-P-H) derived from human BCL-2. The preparation is supplied in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. Predicted molecular weight of the target is 26 kDa. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
