Anti-Bcl 2 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) protein, a 26 kDa integral membrane regulator of apoptosis anchored to the outer mitochondrial membrane. Bcl-2 suppresses programmed cell death by sequestering pro-apoptotic Bax and Bak family members, and its overexpression is a hallmark of follicular lymphoma research and chemotherapy resistance studies. The reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous Bcl-2 in lysates prepared from human and mouse cell lines, with recognition of the full-length 26 kDa isoform.
