Anti-BCL-2 (Ab-70) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent, this antibody targets BCL-2 and is validated by the manufacturer for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human samples. It is provided at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²+ and Ca²+), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.

The reagent was raised in rabbits against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human BCL-2 (sequence around aa.68–72, R-T-S-P-L) conjugated to KLH, and was purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide. The manufacturer states that the antibody detects the endogenous level of total BCL-2 protein.
