Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies portfolio, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal raised against BCAT1 (branched-chain amino acid transaminase 1, cytosolic), an enzyme implicated in branched-chain amino acid metabolism and widely studied in cancer and metabolic research. The unconjugated IgG antibody is supplied at 1 mg/mL in a 50 µL liquid format, formulated in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and is validated for Western Blot applications across human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species expression studies in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. With an estimated purity greater than 95% by affinity purification, the reagent is intended for research use only and is offered through the AFMS catalogue as a reliable tool for detecting endogenous BCAT1 levels in standard immunoblotting workflows. Storage at –20 °C in aliquots is recommended to preserve activity and minimise freeze–thaw cycles over the shelf life of the product.
