Anti-BCAS2 Antibody

BCAS2 (Breast Carcinoma Amplified Sequence 2), also referred to as SPF27, is a core component of the U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP complex of the spliceosome and participates in pre-mRNA splicing. This polyclonal antibody was raised in rabbit and is supplied at 100 µl as an unconjugated reagent for western blot and ELISA workflows.

Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse, rat, and monkey samples. On immunoblots, the antibody resolves BCAS2 near its expected molecular weight of ~26 kDa. Store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect the reagent from degradation.
