Primary antibodies raised against BCAP29 support studies of B cell receptor-associated protein 29, an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane partner of BAP31 that participates in apoptosis regulation and vesicle-mediated cargo sorting between the ER and Golgi. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit hosts and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant.

Shipped as a 100 µL vial, the antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications, with confirmed reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. Store at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity over the working life of the reagent.

BCAP29 forms heterodimers with BAP31 at the ER membrane and has been linked to programmed cell death signaling and ER stress responses, so this antibody suits researchers modelling apoptosis, monitoring unfolded protein response pathways, or probing membrane trafficking events. The expected band migrates near 29 kDa in tissue or cell lysates by western blot, and the reagent can also be applied to fixed paraffin or cryosections for immunohistochemistry-based localization studies.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP-conjugated, biotinylated, or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies, allowing flexible choice of detection chemistry for chromogenic western blot, tyramide signal amplification, or immunofluorescence workflows.
