Anti-Bax (Ab-167) Antibody

Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this Antibodies.com primary antibody selectively recognizes the pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family member Bax when phosphorylated at threonine 167 (Ab-167). It is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows, yielding a characteristic band near 21 kDa on blots of human and mouse samples, and is widely used in studies of apoptosis regulation, mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization, and the Bcl-2/Bax expression balance in cancer, neurodegeneration, and ischemic injury models. The antibody is supplied in a 100 µl volume as a liquid format suitable for direct dilution into standard immunolabeling buffers.
