Anti-BAIAP2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody raised against BAIAP2, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol. BAIAP2, also known as IRSp53, is an I-BAR domain scaffolding protein that links membrane curvature to actin cytoskeleton remodeling, organizes the postsynaptic density, and participates in insulin receptor substrate signaling, with documented roles in neuronal development, dendritic spine morphogenesis, and synaptic plasticity.

The unconjugated reagent is suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. Because the formulation contains 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, the antibody can be stored frozen and handled without icing; aliquot upon receipt into working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light. Centrifuge briefly before use to recover full volume from the vial. Intended for research use only.
