Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a recombinant human BAG1 immunogen, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect the endogenous levels of total BAG1 (also known as BCL2-associated athanogene 1, BAG family molecular chaperone regulator 1, or HAP). The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and has been verified for cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples. Validation data shown on the supplier product page include Western blot analysis of NCI-H460 cell lysates and immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human liver cancer tissue at a 1:100 dilution. For routine use, the antibody should be shipped cold at 4 °C and stored in single-use aliquots at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The unconjugated format makes it suitable for downstream labelling with user-selected fluorophores, enzymes, or biotin, supporting flexibility across imaging and blotting workflows. Intended strictly for research applications, the reagent is dispatched from Antibodies.com's St. Louis, MO facility with a typical lead time of 6–9 business days.
