Anti-Bag-3 Antibody

The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Bag-3, a Bcl-2-associated athanogene family co-chaperone that partners with Hsp70 to govern apoptosis, selective autophagy, and the cellular response to proteotoxic and mechanical stress. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approx. pH 7.2, the antibody is validated for western blot and has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. Bag-3 is constitutively expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscle and is frequently elevated in tumors such as melanoma, where altered levels influence proliferation, motility, and chemotherapy sensitivity.
