Anti-Bag-1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent is raised against Bag-1 (BAG1) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human Bag-1 — and it selectively detects endogenous levels of Bag-1 protein in human samples, making it well-suited to studies of apoptosis regulation and chaperone co-factor biology. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and ELISA, and the unconjugated format allows researchers to pair the antibody with their preferred secondary detection system. The formulation buffer is PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and the product is shipped at 4°C; for long-term preservation, aliquots should be stored at –20°C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
