The BAF250 protein, also known as ARID1A, is a key subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin-remodeling complex and a recognized tumor suppressor that is frequently lost in ovarian clear cell carcinoma, endometrioid carcinoma, and several other malignancies. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against BAF250 and validated for immunofluorescence staining on human samples, where it is commonly applied to evaluate ARID1A status in tumor tissue sections. Supplied as 50 µL of IgG polyclonal antiserum, the reagent supports loss-of-expression analyses and chromatin-remodeling research workflows that require a reliable human-reactive probe. Researchers studying SWI/SNF complex biology, gynecologic cancer pathology, or epigenetic regulation can use this reagent to investigate BAF250 localization by immunofluorescence in cultured cells and archival tissue.
