Anti-Bad (phospho-S136) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Bad (phospho-S136). It is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The reagent is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Bad around the phosphorylation site of Serine 136, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Bad protein only when phosphorylated at Ser136. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 24 kDa.
