Anti-BAAT Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises BAAT (bile acid-CoA:amino acid N-acyltransferase). It is of the IgG isotype, unconjugated, and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, following affinity purification.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 309–418 of human BAAT (NP_001692.1), and the target protein migrates at 40–46 kDa. The antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. It is validated for Western Blot (recommended dilution 1:500–1:2,000), Immunohistochemistry (1:100–1:500) and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (1:50–1:200). Known synonyms for the target include CMM3 and PSK-J3 (UniProt P11802; Gene ID 1019).

Concentration is lot-specific. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
