Anti-B4GALT6 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal immunoglobulin preparation raised against Beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase 6 (B4GALT6), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent validated for Western blot detection of the human and mouse target. B4GALT6 is a Golgi-resident glycosyltransferase that transfers galactose from UDP-galactose to glucosylceramide, generating lactosylceramide (LacCer), the branch-point precursor of higher-order glycosphingolipids including GM3 and the ganglio-series. The antibody is presented in 100 µL volumes at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH ~7.2) with 15 mM sodium azide as a microbial preservative, and supports research use only studies of glycosphingolipid biosynthesis, Golgi membrane biology, and LacCer-dependent lipid signaling.
