Anti-B4GALT5 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against B4GALT5 (Beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase 5) and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated reagent reacts with Human, Rat and Mouse samples, and the product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.

Specificity is directed to endogenous levels of B4GALT5 protein, with the immunogen corresponding to a synthetic peptide of amino acids 321–365 of the human sequence. The expected molecular weight is ~ 45 kDa, and the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity > 96% (by SDS-PAGE).

B4GALT5 is described in external databases as an intracellular enzyme with low tissue specificity and a predicted subcellular location in vesicles; the human gene maps to chromosome 20 (49632945–49713878).
