The B3GNT5 enzyme is a type II transmembrane Golgi-resident glycosyltransferase that initiates poly-N-acetyllactosamine chain synthesis by transferring N-acetylglucosamine to lactosylceramide and N-acetylactosamine acceptors. It plays a role in glycosphingolipid biosynthesis relevant to cell surface glycan remodeling studied in cancer biology and immunology research.
Distributed by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is validated for western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat sample lysates. Each vial is supplied at 200 µl of unconjugated IgG, supporting HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody workflows in standard immunoblotting protocols.
Researchers investigating glycosylation pathway activity, tumor-associated glycan remodeling, or LacNAc-bearing glycoconjugate signaling can use this antibody as a primary detection step in expression profiling across multiple species.
