Manufactured and distributed under the Antibodies.com brand, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 31–35 (L-D-S-G-I) of human β-Catenin (CTNNB1, UniProt P35222), enabling detection of endogenous total β-Catenin protein in cell-adhesion and Wnt-pathway studies. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of purified Ig at approximately 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and it is unconjugated, with a predicted molecular weight of ~92 kDa. Polyclonal in nature and of the Rabbit IgG isotype, it has been validated for Western blotting (1:500–1:1000), Immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:100) and Immunofluorescence (1:100–1:200), with demonstrated cross-reactivity against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. For best stability, it should be stored short-term at 4 °C (stable for up to six months) and at −20 °C for long-term use, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Intended strictly for research use, the reagent is offered by supplier AFMS and pairs cleanly with the secondary detection systems standard to those three applications.
