AURKA (Aurora Kinase A) is a mitotic serine/threonine kinase whose phosphorylation at threonine 288 marks the catalytically active state during late G2 and M phase, supporting centrosome maturation, mitotic entry, and bipolar spindle assembly. Antibodies.com provides a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against this phospho-T288 epitope, supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, in a 100 µl vial.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, the unconjugated reagent pairs freely with user-selected secondary detection chemistries. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognising the phosphorylated epitope across varying sequence contexts, which is useful when profiling phospho-signalling dynamics in synchronised cell populations, xenograft tumour sections, or primary tissue microarrays.

For handling, store at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to preserve phospho-specific reactivity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles; briefly centrifuge before opening to recover full volume, and rely on the 50% glycerol buffer to prevent ice-crystal damage during frozen storage.
