Aurora kinase A (AURKA) is a mitotic serine/threonine kinase localized to centrosomes and spindle poles, where it drives centrosome maturation, spindle assembly, and chromosome segregation. The Antibodies.com anti-AURKA antibody is a rabbit polyclonal, unconjugated primary reagent supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, delivered as a 100 µl aliquot validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples.

AURKA amplification and overexpression are recurrently reported in breast, colorectal, ovarian, and other solid tumors, supporting research applications in cell cycle regulation, mitotic checkpoint control, and tumor biology. The polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and recognizes the native human AURKA protein in both fixed tissue sections and lysed cell preparations, enabling detection of endogenous expression across dividing cell populations.

For research use only. Store refrigerated in the original vial, protect from light, and minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
