Anti-ATXN7L1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated antibody from Antibodies.com targets the ATXN7L1 transcription regulator and is validated for Western blot across human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, ready to dilute into standard WB workflows.

ATXN7L1, also called ataxin-7-like 1, is a paralogue of ataxin-7 and assembles into the SAGA-type histone acetyltransferase complex, where it contributes to chromatin remodelling and transcriptional control. Published work has linked the protein to neuronal gene regulation and to the wider ataxin family implicated in spinocerebellar ataxia, supporting its use in studies of chromatin-based gene expression in neural and non-neural tissues.

Because the reagent is polyclonal and unconjugated, it can be paired with a secondary antibody of choice (HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated) and applied to denatured lysates for detection of the endogenous protein band.
