Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies portfolio, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against ATP7B (Copper-transporting ATPase 2), a copper pump implicated in Wilson disease. The antibody detects endogenous levels of ATP7B protein and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, with the 50 µl pack size offered alongside a 100 µl option. It is unconjugated and validated for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunofluorescence (IF) workflows, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. Generated in Rabbit and purified by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific recombinant full-length human ATP7B immunogen, the polyclonal pAb shows a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE and is suitable for detection of the ~157 kDa target band in cell and tissue lysates. The reagent should be shipped at 4 °C and, once delivered, aliquoted and stored at −20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Researchers studying copper homeostasis, hepatocellular copper transport, or Wilson disease-associated protein function will find this lot-format pAb a flexible tool for both blotting and imaging applications.
