The ATP6V0D1 protein is the d subunit of the V0 membrane sector of vacuolar H+-ATPase, a multi-subunit rotary proton pump that acidifies intracellular organelles including endosomes, lysosomes, and secretory vesicles. From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing direct comparison of V-ATPase subunit levels across species. The 100 µl volume supports multiple blotting experiments, and the polyclonal format increases the chance of recognizing conserved epitopes within the d subunit even where minor sequence variation exists between species. Researchers studying osteoclast acidification, synaptic vesicle loading, or general endolysosomal pH regulation use this reagent to track d-subunit abundance in cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
