Raised in rabbit against ATP5J2, a subunit of the peripheral stalk of mitochondrial ATP synthase (Complex V), this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The reagent is validated for western blot detection of the target in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of oxidative phosphorylation, mitochondrial biogenesis, and Complex V assembly across standard mammalian model systems.

ATP5J2 contributes to the F0 sector of the rotary ATPase, and altered expression has been reported in contexts ranging from cancer cell metabolism to neurodegenerative disease. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the mature protein, and the unconjugated presentation lets researchers pair the reagent with their preferred HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary for chemiluminescent, fluorescent, or chromogenic western blot workflows.

For handling, keep the vial refrigerated for short-term use; aliquoting is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody stock. The sodium azide content should be taken into account when combining the antibody with HRP-conjugated secondaries or with live-cell preparations.
