ATP5J, also known as ATP synthase membrane subunit f and historically termed coupling factor 6 (CF6), is a component of the mitochondrial F1F0 ATP synthase complex embedded in the inner mitochondrial membrane, where it contributes to proton channeling and the synthesis of ATP through oxidative phosphorylation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against ATP5J and has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows using human and mouse samples. The reagent is provided as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, with the host species being rabbit and no fluorophore or enzyme conjugate attached, allowing researchers to pair the primary with their own preferred secondary reporter for chemiluminescent, fluorescent, or chromogenic detection. Polyclonal reactivity against ATP5J is useful for probing mitochondrial bioenergetics, oxidative phosphorylation status, and the tissue distribution of ATP synthase subunits across model systems. For best results, storage at -20 °C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve long-term antibody reactivity, and the product is intended for research use only.
