Rabbit Polyclonal Reagent for Golgi-Localized ATP2C1

Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated, this Antibodies.com antibody recognizes ATP2C1, also known as SPCA1, the secretory pathway Ca2+/Mn2+-ATPase embedded in the Golgi membrane where it loads the lumen with calcium and manganese to support post-translational protein processing. The reagent detects ATP2C1 in human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for western blot analysis of tissue lysates and immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, allowing researchers to localize Golgi-resident pump expression across model systems.

The antibody is provided as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, prepared as a single-use vial that suits dilute working stocks and routine bench handling. For active use, store refrigerated at 4°C; for longer-term storage, keep frozen at -20°C in aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-stabilized solution.
