This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the C-terminal region of ATP-Citrate Lyase (ACLY), a cytosolic enzyme that converts citrate and coenzyme A into acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate. Because acetyl-CoA sits at the crossroads of de novo lipogenesis, cholesterol biosynthesis, and histone acetylation, ACLY is widely studied in cancer metabolism, metabolic disease, and epigenetic regulation research.

The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a purified mouse monoclonal in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µL vial. It is validated for Western blot, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry on human samples, where it is used to detect endogenous ACLY expression, monitor its cytoplasmic localization, and study regulation by phosphorylation or acetylation.

Common research contexts include studies of metabolic reprogramming in tumor cells, lipid biosynthesis pathways, and the role of acetyl-CoA availability in chromatin modification. Working aliquots are recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing formulation. For research use only.
