Raised in rabbit against the ATOH7 transcription factor, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody is qualified for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples, supporting detection of endogenous ATOH7 protein in retinal and neural tissue contexts.
ATOH7 (Atonal BHLH Transcription Factor 7) is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor required for retinal ganglion cell differentiation during eye development, and variants in the gene have been associated with nonsyndromic retinal disorders. The reagent is provided in a vial and is intended for research use only. Storage at -20 °C in small aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing stock, with brief handling at 4 °C during use.
