Anti-ATM Antibody

Selective detection of the Ataxia-Telangiectasia Mutated (ATM) kinase is supported by this recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, supplied as an unconjugated antibody in 100 µl of TBS buffer (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. ATM sits at the apex of the DNA damage signaling cascade, where autophosphorylation at Ser1981 and phosphorylation of downstream effectors such as p53 (Ser15), CHK2 (Thr68), BRCA1, and H2AX drive cell-cycle arrest, apoptosis, and homologous recombination repair. Loss-of-function mutations in the ATM gene cause Ataxia-Telangiectasia, and altered ATM activity is implicated in radiosensitivity, immunodeficiency, neurodegeneration, and a broad spectrum of solid and hematological cancers.
