Anti-ATIC Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antiserum is raised in rabbit against ATIC, the bifunctional enzyme 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide ribonucleotide formyltransferase/IMP cyclohydrolase that catalyzes the final two steps of de novo purine biosynthesis. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated reagent in a single vial, the antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Because ATIC sits at the intersection of nucleotide metabolism and folate-dependent one-carbon chemistry, it is a frequent target in cancer metabolism research, antifolate drug response studies, and investigations of AICAR-mediated AMPK signaling.
