Anti-ATG4B Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets ATG4B, a cysteine protease involved in autophagy. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from an internal region of human ATG4B, and the antibody is validated to detect endogenous levels of total ATG4B protein in human and mouse samples. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume as rabbit IgG formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. Recommended applications are Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with published images showing clean detection in Jurkat cell lysates by WB and in paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle tissue by IHC. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Intended for research use only, it is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, and a 100 µL pack size is also available alongside the standard 50 µL format.
