Raised in rabbit against the autophagy regulator ATG14 (also known as Barkor or ATG14L), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, as a 100 µl vial intended for routine laboratory use.
ATG14 directs the class III PtdIns3K complex to nascent phagophores, anchoring Beclin-1–VPS34 lipid kinase activity at sites of autophagosome biogenesis. The antibody has been validated for Western blot detection of endogenous ATG14 in human, mouse, and rat samples and performs in immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, supporting studies of basal and induced autophagy, mitophagy, and membrane trafficking.
Store refrigerated at 4°C; for long-term storage keep frozen at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Sodium azide at 0.1% acts as a microbial preservative in the buffer.
