Anti-ATF2 (phospho-T71) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against ATF2 and recognises the protein only when phosphorylated at threonine 71 [C0][S1]. It is unconjugated and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen [S1].

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and it reacts with human, mouse and rat samples [C0][S1]. The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ATF2 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 71, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of ATF2 only when phosphorylated at Thr71 [S1].

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2 [C0][S1]. The target band is observed at ~55 to 75 kDa, and the antibody purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE [S1].
