Anti-ATF2 (Phospho-Ser62 or 44) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targeting ATF2 phosphorylated at serine 62 or 44. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

Specificity is directed against endogenous ATF-2 only when phosphorylated at serine 62 or 44. The immunogen corresponds to a peptide sequence around the phosphorylation site of serine 62 or 44 (N-D-S(p)-V-I) derived from Human ATF2. Antibodies were generated by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugates and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by chromatography against the non-phosphopeptide.

The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
