This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2), a stress-responsive member of the ATF/CREB transcription factor family. ATF2 is phosphorylated by JNK and p38 MAPK kinases and binds the cAMP response element (CRE) to regulate genes involved in DNA damage response, oxidative stress, and inflammatory signaling, and it has been linked to melanoma progression and other malignancies. Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal format provides multi-epitope recognition of endogenous ATF2, supporting reproducible detection in cell lysates and fixed cell preparations. Researchers use it to monitor phosphorylation-dependent activation, subcellular localization, and expression changes in response to genotoxic or environmental stimuli. Aliquot upon arrival and store refrigerated; protect from light to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
