Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, validated for Western blot detection of endogenous ATF2 protein in human and mouse samples. The unconjugated IgG preparation is provided as 200 µl of liquid and works on whole-cell lysates, tissue extracts, and immunoprecipitation inputs in signal transduction studies.
ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2) is a bZIP transcription factor of the ATF/CREB family. It is phosphorylated by JNK and p38 MAPK pathways in response to cellular stress, UV irradiation, and DNA damage, making this reagent a useful marker for stress kinase activity, oncogenesis research, and DNA damage response workflows. Shipped refrigerated; store cold and minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity across repeated blotting applications.
