ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2) is a member of the ATF/CREB bZIP transcription factor family that binds the cAMP response element (CRE) and drives transcription of stress-responsive genes. Antibodies.com provides this rabbit polyclonal antibody for detection of endogenous ATF2 in human and mouse samples by Western blot. Phosphorylation at Thr69 and Thr71 by JNK and p38 MAPK kinases links ATF2 activity to DNA damage, oxidative stress, and inflammatory signalling cascades.
Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG in a vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot applications and supports research into transcriptional regulation, MAPK pathway biology, and chromatin-associated stress responses. Aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve long-term activity for repeated immunoblotting experiments.
