Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody targets ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2), specifically recognizing the protein phosphorylated at threonine residues 71 and 53. These phosphorylation sites are modified by stress-activated kinases such as p38 MAPK and JNK in response to cellular stress, DNA damage, and inflammatory signals, making the reagent well suited to studies of MAP kinase signaling, the DNA damage response, and transcriptional regulation through the cAMP response element (CRE).
Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, the antibody has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples. Shipped as a 100 µl volume in unconjugated format for flexible downstream labeling, it is supplied by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies catalog and is appropriate for researchers investigating transcription factor activation, stress response pathways, and signaling dynamics in cell biology and oncology studies.
