ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2) is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor of the ATF/CREB family that binds the cAMP-responsive element and mediates cellular responses to stress, cytokines, and DNA damage. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognises an N-terminal epitope of ATF2 (around residues 62 or 44) and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing consistent detection across orthologous cell and tissue systems.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera for standard immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates, chromogenic or fluorescent IHC on formalin-fixed sections, and IF staining of cultured cells. Investigators working on MAPK/JNK signalling, CRE-driven transcription, or genotoxic stress responses can monitor endogenous ATF2 expression and the phosphorylation-dependent mobility shifts that report its activation status with this reagent.

For research use only. Store refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve reagent activity.
