Anti-ATF2 (Ab-112 or 94) Antibody

Manufactured and distributed by Antibodies.com, this research-grade rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the activating transcription factor 2 (ATF2) protein and selectively recognises ATF-2 only when phosphorylated at serine 112 or serine 94. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilisers. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and was generated by immunising rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugate corresponding to the D-L-S(p)-P-L sequence around the Ser112/Ser94 phosphorylation site of human ATF2; the antiserum was then affinity-purified on the epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific immunoglobulins removed by chromatography against the non-phosphopeptide. Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, the conjugate is unconjugated, and reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples. The vial is shipped on cold gel packs at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
