This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ATF1 (Activating Transcription Factor 1), a member of the ATF/CREB transcription factor family. ATF1 dimerizes with CREB and binds cAMP response elements (CRE) in promoter regions, modulating expression of genes linked to stress response, cell growth, and differentiation signaling. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot and supports Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows.
From Antibodies.com, the antibody was raised in rabbit and detects endogenous ATF1 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target protein, and IF applications enable co-localization studies with related CREB/ATF family members. WB analysis resolves the target near the predicted molecular weight, supporting expression comparisons across cell lysates and tissue sections.
