Anti-ATF-1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-1 and is intended for sensitive detection of endogenous ATF-1 protein in experimental samples. The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide derived from human ATF-1 flanking the non-phosphorylation site at serine 63, and the antiserum was affinity-purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to maximise target specificity. Supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal in liquid form (1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide), the 50 µl vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated applications include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, and the antibody has been confirmed to react with Human and Mouse samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of CREB/ATF family signalling.
