Anti-Ataxin-2 (F774) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Ataxin-2, directed at the F774 epitope region. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 740-788 of human Ataxin-2. The unconjugated antibody is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human samples.

The reagent detects endogenous levels of Ataxin-2 protein. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 140 kDa.
