Anti-Ataxin-10 Antibody

The target protein Ataxin-10 (gene symbol ATXN10) is an armadillo-repeat domain protein whose intronic ATTCT pentanucleotide expansion causes Spinocerebellar ataxia type 10 (SCA10), a progressive polyglutamine-independent neurodegenerative movement disorder. Laboratories investigating Purkinje cell survival, neuronal cilia biology, ribosome biogenesis, and cerebellar signaling routinely use anti-Ataxin-10 reagents to monitor endogenous expression in rodent and human samples.
