Description
A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit and directed against ASPN. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. It has been shown to react with human, mouse, and rat samples.
ASPN encodes Asporin, a protein reported to show tissue-enhanced expression in heart muscle and smooth muscle, with subcellular localisation in the nucleoplasm and cytosol. It is predicted to be intracellular and to be secreted to the extracellular matrix. The gene maps to chromosome 9 (region 92456205–92482506; Ensembl ID ENSG00000106819).
