Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against human Aspartate Beta-Hydroxylase (ASPH), a type II transmembrane endoplasmic reticulum enzyme that catalyzes hydroxylation of specific aspartyl and asparaginyl residues within EGF-like domains of Notch receptors, Jagged ligands, and extracellular matrix components. Because ASPH-driven hydroxylation modulates Notch signaling and intracellular calcium handling, Antibodies.com supplies this reagent for studies of hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, breast cancer, and lung adenocarcinoma where elevated ASPH expression is associated with tumor progression, invasion, and metastasis.

Provided at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a 100 µL vial, the unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples. For routine use, store refrigerated at 4°C and protect from light; for longer storage, keep frozen at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format gives broader epitope coverage than monoclonal reagents, which is useful when probing full-length ASPH isoforms including junctin and junctate variants generated by alternative splicing.
