ASMTL, a putative methyltransferase encoded in the pseudoautosomal region 1 of the X and Y chromosomes, can be detected across human, mouse, and rat samples using this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is intended for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows and is relevant to research areas such as the investigation of altered ASMTL expression in Philadelphia chromosome-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia and related epigenetic studies.
Supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody is ready to dilute into standard blocking and staining buffers. For best results, aliquot upon receipt, store at -20°C protected from light, and minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Because it is delivered unconjugated, the reagent can be paired with user-selected HRP, biotin, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorescent secondary systems to fit established detection pipelines.
