Anti-ASMT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent targets ASMT (Acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase, also known as HIOMT and Hydroxyindole O-methyltransferase), the enzyme responsible for the final step in melatonin biosynthesis. The antibody was raised against a recombinant human ASMT immunogen and affinity-purified to detect endogenous levels of the total protein. Supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated polyclonal is of the IgG isotype and is intended for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows. On the supplier datasheet, reactivity is reported for Human samples (with Mouse reactivity also noted on the Antibodies.com product page). For best results, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
