Anti-ASK1 (phospho-S83) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against ASK1 phosphorylated at Serine 83. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen to a purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ASK1 surrounding the phosphorylation site at Serine 83. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of ASK1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser83, with a reported molecular weight of approximately 155 kDa. It is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human samples.
