Anti-ASK 1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this affinity-purified antibody is raised against ASK 1 (MAP3K5) and is intended for the selective detection of endogenous ASK 1 protein in human samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the human ASK 1 sequence flanking the non-phosphorylation site of serine 83, and the antibody has been affinity-chromatography purified from rabbit antiserum using the epitope-specific immunogen to maximise specificity. Supplied as a 50 µL liquid at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, it is formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and is unconjugated, allowing direct integration into standard detection workflows or downstream labelling strategies. Validated applications on the product datasheet include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, and the reagent has been used in WB analysis of 293T and NIH-3T3 cell lysates. Reactivity is reported for human samples. Shipments are packaged on cold packs at 4 °C; on arrival, aliquots should be stored at –20 °C and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
